Seal and package checks
- Identify platform, region, printing, rating marks and distribution stickers.
- Compare seam style, wrap, hangtabs and known security strips.
- Grading can increase liquidity but cannot cure uncertainty about the seal.
Condition questions
Inspect corners, edges, seams, windows, labels, fading, moisture, odors, punctures, crushing and storage pressure. A genuine seal can still surround a low-grade package.

When to seek authentication
Pause when the product is frequently counterfeited, the seal style is unfamiliar, the premium is large, the item lacks provenance or the packaging differs from documented originals.
