Sealed Vinyl Records
Factory-sealed records, shrink, hype stickers, pressing identifiers and storage risk.

What to document first
Before you value it, identify the exact package.
“Sealed” is a condition and packaging state, not an identity. Price evidence only becomes useful when the item, edition, region, package format and seal type are genuinely comparable.
- A sealed record can still be warped or contain a manufacturing defect.
- Hype and price stickers can help identify era and retail history.
- Pressing identity may be harder to establish without opening; use external identifiers.
- Tight shrink and heat can create jacket or record risk.
NeverOpened tools can organize observations. They do not authenticate an item. For valuable or disputed material, use a qualified category specialist or relevant authentication service.
